B2B workshop: SMEs and Consultants need to each other

ЕСА Consultancy team consisting of Mr. Talantbek Sakishev, Mrs. Raida Bashirova and Mr. Almazbek Urbaev have attended a workshop on export strategy organized by EBRD and Public Association “Agrolead’ which was held on August 5, 2016 in the city of Karakol of Issyk-Kul oblast. More than 40 participants (both SMEs and Consultants) attended the workshop. The main objective of the workshop was to bring together representatives of small and medium sized enterprises and consultants specializing in Management, Marketing, Finance and in other areas as well for mutual cooperation and engagement in the projects under the EBRD Small Business Support Program.

At the workshop Mr. Almazbek Urbaev, Business Analyst at ECA, delivered a presentation on the role of consultant in the value added chain for the companies with the focus of export strategy where he outlined advantages and value of having a consultant in developing and executing an export strategy. Then Director of ECA Mr.Talantbek Sakishev talked about importance for SMEs to have marketing plan and provided success story of providing consulting services on marketing for local milling company “EcoDan” where he helped to develop their marketing strategy that proved to be very successful.

The workshop showed that there is a high demand of small and medium sized enterprises in developing their business further and promoting their products abroad, in this regards ECA Consultancy can provide full range of services starting from developing a strategy, including Export Strategy, Marketing, Financial Management, HRM and etc. During this event several companies have expressed an interest to use the services of ECA, as a result one public association that specializes on producing the felt handicrafts conducted a tour for the ECA team, where ECA consultants accessed the needs and provided some tips for institutional sustainable development of the association. Currently this future project is under the negotiation and contracting stage.
